Paris On A Prayer - The Dylan Groom Story

The story follows the initial diagnosis, consequent prognosis, and the dramatic race- against-time mission to Paris, France. A true life and death situation. Dylan, throughout the journey was hooked up to an oxygen tank, and aided by a doctor who monitored him throughout. Accompanied closely by his mother, father and three older siblings, the mercy dash to Paris was so serious that an ambulance pulled up beside the plane the moment that it touched down on the tarmac at Charles de Gaulle airport. With great urgency, Dylan, along with his doctor and his mother, were helped into the waiting ambulance and with sirens blaring were hurtled through the bustling streets of Paris to the hospital. There, awaiting their arrival was the world's most eminent professor of neuroradiology who would endeavour to save Dylan's life.

What unfolds for the Groom family following this first dramatic encounter upon Parisienne soil, is the story of a family's fight against seemingly unsurmountable odds; how the love that they had for one another empowered them to overcome all of the challenges of being in a foreign country in such adverse and traumatic circumstances.
